FAQs
Is there a minimum giving amount?
There is currently no minimum required to start making an impact with Virtue by donating to Charities from product sales. However, donations need to reach a set threshold to become available to the charities. This is to avoid hefty payment processing fees on smaller donation.
Can I change donation amounts as I go?
Absolutely. Stores can change giving preferences and increase / decrease the monthly cap as they go. The new preferences you set will be applied to future giving. Historical donations will not be affected by new settings
Do my chosen Charities get all of my donations?
Charities are sent all of the donations minus the Virtue support percentage if the store chose to support Virtue platform. We use Stripe Connect to distribute donations to Charities which means they go directly into their accounts.
How does Virtue make money?
Right now Virtue is 100% supported by Virtue support set by the stores. We want to make it as easy as possible for stores to start giving which means removing barriers such as admin costs.
