Cause Bio

Little Lifts was founded in 2014 by Oa Hackett after discovering she had breast cancer at 28 years of age. After undergoing treatment at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Oa founded Little Lifts as a way of giving something back.

Packed with love, a Little Lifts Box is full of mood-boosting goodies and practical products to support women and men who are currently, or are soon to be, undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment for primary or secondary breast cancer.

In the East of England, Little Lifts’ hospital partnerships help spread kindness. Dedicated Oncology, Radiotherapy and Breast Care Teams give Little Lifts Boxes directly to patients during treatment planning and review meetings.

Elsewhere in the UK, The Little Kindness Fund provides the opportunity for those receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment for primary or secondary breast cancer to apply for a Little Lifts Box, free of charge. This Fund was set up in collaboration with the wonderful team at Spacemasks.

Support a loved one with a Box from the Little Lifts shop, where you will find a selection of gifts, each tailored to give a different well-being boost.

At Little Lifts they believe that a little kindness can go a long way. That’s why they are asking you to join their #LittleLiftsCommunity and take ‘little steps’ to support Little Lifts fundraising efforts and help raise awareness about what they do.

Here at Virtue we believe, with your help, we can fill Little Lifts Boxes and support many more people receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer across the UK.
