Culture Hustle and the creation of YOLO
Culture Hustle, founded by artist Stuart Semple, is renowned for its bold, innovative art materials that push creative boundaries. Among its standout creations is the paint “YOLO”—marketed as the “newly discovered colouriest colour.” This dramatic and attention-grabbing pigment quickly became a sensation, embodying Culture Hustle’s ethos of experimental play and fearless self-expression

About Art Aid and its Impact
Art Aid: Art for Schools is Culture Hustle’s philanthropic initiative aimed at reversing the decline of arts education in the UK. With nearly half of students dropping arts subjects at GCSE level, the program seeks to reignite creativity in inner‑city schools. So far, over £30,000 worth of high-quality art materials have been donated, relieving teachers from subsidising resources out of their own pockets. By delivering complete Art Aid Kits directly to schools, the initiative ensures that young minds receive the tools they need to flourish creatively despite systemic budget cuts.

Culture Hustle’s support through Virtue
Using Virtue's Store giving option, Culture Hustle has donated 5% of all sales to Art Aid, which has raised over £2,200 via the platform. This transparent, impactful collaboration ensures that as the company grows, so too does its support for arts education—directly linking consumer engagement with meaningful real-world outcomes.
